Recently, Pencils of Promise held it’s first Jazz PoP night, an event full of great music, great company, and great fun in order to help us reach our goal of 100 schools by the end of the year! The event was held at The Jazz Gallery and featured Kriss Mincey, DeKoven St, and Sara Jane, three extremely talented local jazz musicians.
The night was a huge success! Tons of PoP supporters came out for the event, including many past and present members of the PoP staff. Everyone got silly and had a great time with sunglasses and their own inflatable saxophones, and in the end we raised enough money to educate 20 children for a year.
At PoP, we love having fun nights like this, so keep a look out for future events to attend and other great ways to get involved!
A huge thanks to Joseph Frantz, The Jazz Gallery, and all of our musicians for making the night happen!
