ABOUT NOAH MARWIL
Written by: Noah Marwil December 7th, 2010Professional Title: Latin American Regional Director
Personal Title: Director of Reaching Things over 8 feet or under
Background: I spent the majority of my formative years in the great city of Providence, Rhode Island, until the tender age of 18 when I moved to Boulder, Colorado to attend the University of Colorado. There I studied Environment and Economics. After graduation, unsure of my life’s direction I moved to Argentina to teach English and discover what IT is all about. Upon my return to the US, I took a position with John Snow, Inc., an international public health consulting firm. After 2 and a half years supporting projects abroad from their Boston offices, I moved to La Paz, Bolivia to work directly with a program focused on maternal and child health and prevention and treatment of infectious disease. Thanks to the Mr. Braun, I now have the esteemed pleasure of working for Pencils of Promise as their Latin American Regional Director.
