Background: Before working at Pencils of Promise, I actively volunteered
at the organization, but my day job for four and half years was at Tribeca
Enterprises, the multi-platform media company that brings New York an
acclaimed International Film Festival every April. At Tribeca, I was exposed to a
little bit of everything, but most recently I specialized in Corporate Development
in the education sector.
Outside of all things 9-5, I’m a Co-Founder of apt4 Food and Wine, a Supper
Club in New York, volunteer with (PRODUCT)RED and Acumen Fund,
apprentice at boutique hotels and restaurants, and if there is a plane ticket I can
afford, I will book it and I will probably go there alone.
And oh yeah, I’m a hugger.

What keeps you going? My desire to live my life on the steep side of a
learning curve.

the potential for positive impact is limitless.
Interesting fact: Last year, with no previous professional culinary experience, I
worked as a line cook in a high-end NY kitchen for “fun.” Not for me long-term,
but I did learn how to make a mean tomato sauce!
