Pencils of Promise is proud to announce the completion of our 1st school in Nicaragua with partner organization Seeds of Learning! We are now opening up spots on 10-day volunteer build trips this summer, where you will spend time building new schools alongside the amazing communities of San Ramon and Agua Fria in the highlands of Nicaragua.
Our first PoP Profile is on Mimi Nguyen, a member of the PoP Leadership Board and a founding member of the organization.
She’s the Pencils of Promise Laos Country Coordinator, a fearless advocate of education and a devout lover of hip-hop. She is strong, defiant, and believes the future and progress of our world lies with the empowerment of women.
